We had the most amazing time here with the lovely Carole. As soon as we arrived she made us feel welcome and showed us into her wonderful home ( you have to see it to believe it).     A charming old house right in the middle of the little town of Vervins, so close to the town's restaurant facilities. The rather bland front gives way to an Olde Worlde interior of coach entry-way , court-yard and a warren of staircases and corridors. All is clean and tidy and the welcome warm and very friendly. Loads of hot water for the shower and a good continental breakfast made for a very good, simple stop-over.

    This tends to be a hotel for workers in the area, so early to bed, which means quiet and a great nights sleep. Breakfast is bread/jam with a pan au chocolat, juice n coffee. Evening meals are simply superb, Nicholas must have a great chef. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality supplied. I stayed in room 9 for 5 nights, rooms are basic but everything you need and clean n tidy. Thoroughly recommend.

    Good hotel, clean. We slept well. The train station in front of the hotel is not in operation anymore. The owner of the hotel is very enthusiastic. Good for improving my French.
