It is a love location, room was freshly decorated and new bathroom. The new owners are currently upgrading it and it will only get better and better! As the owners have had restaurant businesses before the dinner was amazing and great selection of wines etc. Nothing was too much trouble!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cozy auberge in the snowy mountains. The location is stunning, offering peaceful views and a truly charming atmosphere. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Dinner was delicious and satisfying, and breakfast had everything we needed to start our day well. It’s a perfect spot for a cozy family getaway, and we’d love to return!

After an active day, there is nothing better than sitting down for a tasty meal and then sinking into a wonderfully comfortable bed. The nights are quiet and peaceful, ensuring a deep, refreshing sleep. What makes Herberg Saval truly special are the hosts Leroy and his girlfriend Clémentine. What warm, hospitable people! They do everything they can to make you feel at home and their enthusiasm for the region is infectious. An absolute must – we will definitely be back!

Visited in the summer of 2025 with "days of fantastic weather. A crisp morning and a sunny, not too hot day, perfect for an active day. A small local shop with a super cozy bar. Enjoyed a delicious meal at a local pizzeria.

We were expecting a village of this size, however, a pleasant surprise, a very beautiful typical mountain village with beautiful chalets, the pleasant surprise of finding shops nearby (pizzeria, restaurant, sports shop, bar, mini-market with everything) and ski lifts as well, and good hiking trails.
