Big, old hotel with indoor swimming pool (quite impressive) and simple, but perfect room in the beautiful, health-resort town of Vittel. Friendly, efficient reception staff, who even phoned beforehand to tell us the restaurant would be closed due to illness of the chef. Definitely recommended!

A charming historic town. Beautiful old buildings with stunning facades. A lovely, well-maintained park. I can spend hours enjoying this beautiful town and its surroundings. An interesting visit.

An interesting visit. Vittel has three main attractions: the villas—grand and spectacular villas; the thermal baths in the middle of a remarkable park; and the town itself—a charming little town. It's less glamorous than Spa or Vichy, but Vittel is definitely worth a visit, especially for its park.

A superb and immense park, but the town feels somewhat neglected despite the old-world beauty of the buildings. Grey dominates. Sadly, one senses a financial neglect; what a shame… however, the shopkeepers and residents are welcoming and warm.

Vittel has managed to develop without mass tourism.

Vittel has managed to develop without mass tourism. Now, it's at a turning point, modernizing the grand hotels from the Belle Époque of thermalism. A welcoming and peaceful town for families, without any fuss.

The shopkeepers were welcoming, the town was clean and full...

The shopkeepers were welcoming, the town was clean and full of flowers, and the park was magnificent. Getting around was easy, even for those with mobility issues. The tourist office was welcoming, and we must commend the instructors who led the activities at the thermal park with kindness and care.

A lovely town which, I hope, will regain its rightful place in the search for new family-friendly and sustainable leisure activities. Is this the end of flashy, snobbish holidays? Vittel has this advantage, and establishments like the Hôtel d'Angleterre reflect this mindset based on reliable values.

The hotel is located in the very centre. There are no fears about the car park described in the comments. It is located within half a minute walk, there are always spaces, the car park is closed. The car can be left in front of the hotel for unloading and check-in. Clean rooms. Quick check-in, the ability to check-in online is a great time saver.
