The loveliest place with fantastic hosts! They were so helpful and friendly, and really went that extra mile to give our stay a silver lining. You can tell they run the place with pride and joy. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, the room was perfect and spacious. The decor, bedlinen etc. were top quality and has a classic style with modern influences. Big and delicious breakfast. We highly recommend it!

Wonderful property where to stay when discovering historical sites, located in a small, peaceful and charming town. Although with our last minute booking and only one night stay, the hosts welcomed us and treated greatly — delicious breakfast, useful tips for discovering area (based on them, we decided to change our itinerary and was absolutely worth it!) The room itself is recently renovated, the interior displays historical elements, and provides everything that is necessary for the stay. Definitely would like to highlight the cleanness and careful care of the guests. Highly recommending!

The owners are young, they started recently and have time to grow up, but please don't change. I have never been in such a mix of elegance and familiarity. The suite is furnished with minimal and refined taste, everything seems to be in the right place, studied for it. There is also a vinyl player to better immerse yourself in the magical aura. The surroundings are magic, an escape from traffic and everyday life. Breakfast is whatever you wished for, in contemplative silence. The owners are also available to provide information, directions and suggestions, but also pleasant conversations to get to know each other better. I don't know what else to say, just try it.

A charming château that gives you the feeling you've walked...

A charming château that gives you the feeling you've walked back in time to 1945.Our host, James, kind and friendly, was a wealth of knowledge about the area and especially WW2. The rooms were large with a view of the large property. The castle has a moat around it which adds to its charm. The bedroom wallpaper and windows are quite old which adds to its charm. If you're looking for a place that feels as though you live there, this is the place. There are outbuildings to be explored as well as a small lake, fruit trees and roses. There are several places to sit outside in the shade. One evening we had a picnic supper at the table provided. There is no AC but even though it was warm during the day, it cooled down at night to be able to sleep comfortably with the windows open. Definitely no hesitation in recommending Le Château de Vouilly !
