One of the best places we have ever been to - tranquil and peaceful, with beautiful views across the bay. The hotel has a great atmosphere of old times. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. We certainly want to come back and stay longer!

Welcoming staff. Very friendly atmosphere. Upgraded without a problem due to a guest staying on longer in my allocated room. Excellent facilities. Warm and cozy. Relaxed with a few pints at the bar. Locals were very sociable.

We were easily able to walk from the bus stop to the B&B. It was also an easy walk to everything in town. It was across the street from the canal toe path and that is a lovely walk as well. Location was perfect for people like us who were not driving. We also loved Pauline! She was a ton of fun and worked so hard to make sure our stay was comfortable.

We had such a nice welcome, it was almost like family. very warm and helpful. They even solved some mechanical bicycle trouble for me. The room was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated (like the rest of the house). Breakfast was a treat.

Nice place. "Aunty Ele" was the friendly welcome we needed after a jam-packed day of driving and sight-seeing. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a nice comfy bed and good breakfast for a good price.
