Hosts Peter and Shaley both went above and beyond to make our stay an excellent one. The room was really clean and comfortable with views of the lake. Having a proper coffee machine in the room was a welcome bonus. Both the breakfast and dinner were delicious and served quickly. Breakfast was already included and the dinner was budget friendly with good variety. They also have a pebble beach right in front of the hotel and some tables and chairs right by the water. We particularly enjoyed just sitting there, looking out to the lake, sipping our drink and chatting with other hotel guests. Very dog friendly too!

The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful with information. The room was compact but comfortable. The shared area was very well stocked with all the facilities that you could and would need to prepare and make any meals. I liked the honesty shop and the drying room.

Set in a stunning location with an interesting history, this hotel is a real gem. Wonderful owner and colleagues who were so welcoming and friendly, without being over the top. This is such a great hotel! Graham and his staff did everything and even more to make our stay unforgettable. The room was very confortable, tea, coffee and some biscuits on arrival. Graham even indulged us and did a small laundry for us. I was sad to have chosen his hotel for only a night stop. Great food :) The all Scottish breakfast, included in the room price, was the best I had during our road trip. The kids enjoyed very much the hot tub!
