The location of the hotel is beautiful. The morning walk was incredible and the view of the lighthouse was almost too pretty to be true. We would all have loved to stay one more night.

The castle is absolutely stunning and a lot of care has gone to keeping the interior beautiful. The owner greeted us and could not have been lovelier to deal with. I would certainly recommend Barcaldine Castle to anyone who has a special occasion to celebrate or just deserves something lovely

Lovely place to stay in a beautiful area. Beautifully decorated, comfortable room (Room 4) in a lovely house. Well equipped kitchen and dining room for preparing/eating meals. Communication with hosts was great.
