Everything. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating from the moment we stepped through the door 2.5 hours early. We were attending a wedding so needed somewhere to get changed so they prepared our room for us so we could get settled before leaving for the wedding. The room were very clean and the bed extremely comfortable and breakfast the next morning was exceptional.

Received a warm welcome and such care from staff who located a 3-prong plug (I had forgotten to pack) and tailored meals to be gluten-free. I highly recommend the Cow and Calf. Phenomenal view of the moor and rock formation.

Breakfast was table service. Anything that we requested was presented to us, nothing was too much trouble from a smiling team of morning staff. Our room as always was warm cosy and comfortable. There was a good choice in the bistro for our evening meal which we thoroughly enjoyed. A very pleasant accommodating group of evening staff. Thanks

Hotel had everything we required. It was 1 mile out of town but a nice walk along the Canal. It had the choice of 2 dining options, or there is a pub just a short distance away. Breakfast was amazing, enough to please everyone. Would highly recommend staying here.

    Our stay at this astounding property was excellent from start to finish. We actually felt at home in this house from the minute we walked through the door, up until we locked the door for he final time after carrying out the hosts 2 simple departure requests . Put any pots in the dishwasher and help by doing the recycling into the bins provided.
