Perfect place to spend a night when doing the West Highland Way. Staff were lovely, room clean and comfortable. They are dog friendly too. The vegan breakfast was fantastic!

Kelly was an incredible hostess, going out of her way to make our stay incredible. The rooms are located on a farm, so you are surrounded by animals which you can learn all about when taking a farm tour. We pre-booked breakfast and dinner. For breakfast, you can choose among a variety of options and both breakfast and dinner were wonderful. The Garrisons are located very close to Loch Lomond, so you can easily walk along the lake on the Great Trossachs Path or take a boat at Inversnaid. Thank you so much for the warm welcome and the wonderful stay, Kelly!

Food in the restaurant was good quality.

Food in the restaurant was good quality. We were there as a group and we were all happy with our main courses. I was pleased with the breakfast in the morning. I was very unhappy with the room the shower tray was not draining the water, leak and the window sill was all wet, damage to the inside of the bathroom door as well as the bottom of the wooden door going into the bedroom. The place was clean. The shower was powerful with massage jets.

The view and cottage is to die for.

The view and cottage is to die for. But facilities need to improve for a self catering nature of stay. It mentions Ardlui group of Hotels, but when we reached at 6 pm the hotel staff said they had nothing to do with the property. We spend a tense half hour before the actual person in charge could be contacted.

Very conveniently located in a beautiful setting alongside...

Very conveniently located in a beautiful setting alongside Loch Lomond. Breakfasts were served buffet style but also with a full cooked breakfast included and in a pleasant room overlooking the loch. Food was delicious. Initially booked into a room with a rain leak from the ceiling onto the internal window sill but staff were able to book me into a change of room for the three nights and this room was a slight upgrade, comfortable and with all facilities provided. Very satisfactory stay.

Location was absolutely stunning, lodge had great facilities, everything we needed for a relaxing evening together. Darren could not have been a more helpful host. We had walked from Balmaha that day and just missed the last ferry across to Ardlui. Darren went down to the ferry terminal to ask them to come back over and collect us and they did! Also upon seeing how exhausted we all were, he then went and collected our bags from the hotel. Would highly recommend staying, and a huge thank you to Darren

Stayed 3 nights with my dog in a lovely large room. Breakfasts were great and cooked perfectly by Agnes and served by Shirley. Both these ladies were particularly friendly and helpful so along with the rest of the team made our stay a very pleasant one. My dog had not enjoyed the drive up from Glasgow much so I decided to get the train back home. This was very convenient as Ardlui station is beside the hotel and a much smoother journey. Hope to stay here again soon.

Great welcome from Katerina in reception and in the bar area. I got upgraded from a single to a double room, which was very nice of the hotel. The hotel is in a great location, right next to Loch Lomond. If you're going north, then this is a lovely place to stop before you hit the wilds of the Highlands.

Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. We enjoyed a delicious meal after arrival in the evening, and a fabulous breakfast before setting off for the next leg of our West Highland Way walk.
