The Anderson Hotel is one of a kind in the best way! The old historic building is filled with all sorts of curiosities and with lots of love. The decor of the rooms is in a fitting vintage style, but everything is very neat and tidy! The food is awesome, they have also a lots of crafty beer on tap and 250 whiskys to choose from. The village was clean and tidy and there is everything you need on your doorstep.We found the people really helpful and friendly.There is a lot too see and some great walks for all ages.We spent a lot of time on the beach and down at the harbour.We would recommend the Chinese takeaway it was really good and worth every penny.There is a lovely swing park for the kids with something for all ages.Avoch is easy to get round as everything is at hand,it is a great place and the scenery is spectacular.

It's a beautiful village.

It's a beautiful village. We saw dolphins in the Moray Firth from the breakfast room at our B&B! The harbour is nice and an excellent dolphin boat trip leaves from there. The only downside was that there is no pub, and there aren't many taxi companies, which means one of you may end up as the designated driver a lot of the time.

The cottage was delightful - it was very clean, well equipped , modern kitchen, comfortable beds and in an excellent location. Parking practically outside the front door. Although Avoch is small, there are lovely take-away restaurants and a cafe within less than five mins walking distance. The owners are really lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. Everything you need on a holiday.

The room is very cozy and well equipped, there's everything you need.. Rachael is an awesome person and an even better host. I rarely met someone who was so open and friendly towards me and made me feel right at home. Avoch is an awesome place to stay when visiting the Highlands. I will definitely come back.
