Not much to dislike. Beautiful walks everywhere. Steeped in army history. Lovely views from The Rampards and the river walk so peaceful despite the early morning rain! Good choice of eateries both during the day and at night. Even in November the place was busy so best to try and book a table in advance. I went to Limoncello in the evening. The hotel is in a lovely quiet area but still only a 5/10 minute walk into Berwick. We were able to park right outside the hotel too and it was free parking which was a great bonus. Craig was amazing before during and after our stay. We were even gifted a bottle of Prosecco as I told Craig our stay was for a special occasion. If you visit Berwick you need to stay here. The room was small but very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hotel is not staffed except in the mornings for breakfast, but access to the rooms is easy and well explained.
