The hotel was very clean and the staff very polite and friendly. There was a homely feel to the hotel and the hotel manager and the owners themselves were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant for both breakfast and evening meals was exemplary and this was accompanied by excellent waiting staff who again always went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

We absolutely loved our stay at Soar Mill Cove. The staff was so friendly, the setting and surroundings exceptional and we loved the facilities: a very comfy room with a view of the ocean, a cute sauna and some good size salted swimming pool. A very cozy hotel in a picturesque little town. The hotel was in a very new and freshly renovated condition. The room was very clean and the box spring bed was very comfortable. The owners put a lot of thought into the room equipment, we had almost everything you could ask for: Bathrobes, shampoo, shower gel and hand cream, fresh milk in the fridge as well as a selection of different teas and coffee, cereals, dishes and cutlery, smart TV with internet. There was a very amazing breakfast which was brought directly to our room. Highly recommended!

Location in middle of nowhere but exactly what we expected. Hosts were fabulous in advising of closest restaurants and pubs, and called said pub when we decided where we would go. The Crooked Spire (where we went for dinner) was so hospitable with yummy food. Breakfast was beautiful, brilliant hosts, thank you so much!
