Checkin receptionist absolutely went beyond helpful as we had difficulty getting taxi. Lauren proceeded to apply app to my phone and to show me the 'way to do it'!! Every member of your team was excellent. Breakfast team were spot on..thank you. Grounds absolutely incredible...my daughter and I expected the trees to talk to us. Placed in the center of Ledbury, easy to find but we arrived in the middle of the town carnival. So we ended up in the Coop parking to begin with near the hotel (restrictions lifted for the carnival!) Got help from the hotel staff and could park at the rear of the hotel when the carnival crowds had gone. Generally people are very helpful so our problems finding a way into Ledbury during the carnival to the hotel were solved. Good breakfast, choice of continental or full english breakfast. Room and hotel were really impressive. We ate out in the evening, good choice of resturants nearby and in the hotel itself, wish we had stayed longer to try them all out. There is a map of the town marking all the places of interest which take you for an easy walk around the town.

What guests said about Birtsmorton:

10

There was nothing we didn't like.

There was nothing we didn't like. Our whole stay was delightful. Richard was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. He even gave us wine and beer before we headed off to the lovely local pub for dinner, and we had some great chats. Our room (with en-suite) was cosy and the bed very comfortable. Earplugs were supplied but we didn't use them, because we enjoy hearing all the country sounds, even the cockerel crowing! TVs were available in our room and the lounge, but we didn't use them - it was nice to be without it for a while. Breakfast was lovely - simple and delicious, and Richard makes his own bread - seeded and white, so there is a choice; both are delicious. His own chickens lay the breakfast eggs. The family pets are very friendly, and the new puppy is adorable! The location of Home Farm is beautiful - very rural and peaceful, with a charming pub - The Duke of York - within walking distance. For our two completely free days we had a guided factory tour of the Morgan Motor Company in Malvern, and enjoyed a trip on the Gloucester Canal. A truly enjoyable three-night break, which we fully recommend. Thank you, Richard!

Off the beaten track in the heart of the countryside, but...

Off the beaten track in the heart of the countryside, but with a pub down the road and not too far from civilisation. If you want a friendly, relaxed stay then tbis for you, but don't expect a 5 star hotel style where no one noticez you - you're made to feel like one of the family.
