Just so friendly and helpful it was a pleasure to be there. Even my beagle felt like an honoured guest. Room was first rate in every sense. The restaurant was not open but they allowed us to order in and set a table etc. worked really well.

We really enjoyed a most wonderful experience of staying at the Beach hotel. Excellently situated on the front with a view of the sea and next to the railway station. Light and spacious eating , drinking and sitting areas around the ground floor with the most fabulous breakfasts. Lovely rooms with comfortable beds, tea and coffee, great shower and bath attached. When I developed a medical problem they absolutely bent over backwards to assist me and for that I am totally indebted to the staff and especially Julie and Emma who were so incredibly kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

Booked a room for Christmas night for my 89 year old (anxious traveller) mum. She was put very much at ease and the room was as warm as toast. I found the staff to be exceptionally warm and accommodating. She is ready to book for next year.

Absolutely loved our stay! The apartment was spotless with a modern design that made it feel both stylish and comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed and was ideally located. Plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance.

The location was scary in that there is only one lane traffic (and we met a removal van!) However it was stunning scenery, beautiful location and magnificent views of the sea/coast one way with the countryside the other way. It was very peaceful, quiet and private. Sadly it was too cold to spend much time outside, but the views were as good from our room. We had to cross the corridor to the bathroom, but it was a lovely bath we enjoyed and saw no one going to and fro. The breakfast was absolutely superb.

I picked Bossington for its remote character and unique...

I picked Bossington for its remote character and unique buildings. There are fabulous coastal path walks ..so..if that’s what you are looking for, I would recommend it. If you are looking for a quick stroll to a local pub..you won’t find one in Bossington..but plenty on offer in Porlock. Peace, beautiful countryside and relaxation are the key to this end of Porlock bay.

Bossington is gorgeous.

Bossington is gorgeous. A very pretty village , a short walk from the coast and the coastal path. Porlock, with its pubs, shops and restaurants is a five minute drive away...and the lovely and interesting village of Porlock Weir is another five minutes further on. The location, so close to Exmoor, is perfect. During our short stay we ate in The Ship (top), and the Old Library cafe, and both meals were excellent. Dunster castle was a great day out, as was a drive across Exmoor and a visit to Tarr steps.

All of the details from you were correct.

All of the details from you were correct. Hosts were friendly and helpful rooms are comfortable and spacious . You do not detail that the hosts will provide an evening meal if pre ordered. This could save a trip into Porlock to find a venue. If only staying overnight you would need to organise with the hosts before arriving as they need prior notice.
