Help me! How can I describe our wonderful stay at the Falcon Hotel in the charming and beautiful Bridgnorth. The hotel is centrally located in the small town, on the east bank of the River Severn, surrounded by historic and picturesque architecture and fresh air galore. The hotel has free parking for the car, welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful staff and serves a lovely, typical English breakfast. The "stable" where the whole family slept was spacious, clean and charming. Thank you for a memorable stay at your venerable hotel!

Beautiful setting and our room was very accessible for disabled guests and had the added benefit of a private garden area. Chef is great and most items (including the chocolates given for my birthday!), were homemade.

It is certinaly not a Pub. It is a restaurant with high ambition and a great interest in food and on top of that some very nice room for guests. The dinner was excellent and wine suggestions brilliant. And they are smart enough to have a menu that can suit every need. The place was almodt full so you better pre-book. The rooms are not large but well equiped and bed great. We especially liked the fact that they seems to let young people work there, it made the place even moore personal! Both at dinner and the very, very enjoyable breakfast! We strongly recommend this and will happily return.

The town has lots of history and many interesting, old buildings. Not too difficult to get around considering the topology, the river and its age. It's a great size for exploring on foot once you're there. We enjoyed a Sunday lunch at the Old Castle Inn. It's many, many years since I'd been to Bridgnorth so it was great to revisit the Cliff Railway, the Castle Gardens and the Town Hall. Parking is cheaper in Low Town so I'd recommend leaving your car there and using the Cliff Railway.

Lots of beautiful historical buildings to see, especially in High Town near the church. So many pubs to visit, everyone was very friendly. The funicular and the steam trains are worth a ride, and the views from the top of the hill over the river are breathtaking. The independent shops are very good, especially the bakers where the bread and cakes were well worth queuing for.

Bridgnorth is a pretty market town with a funicular lift from the High town to the Low town. The river frontage is very pretty. There are cafes, pubs and restaurants. It is the home to the Severn Valley Railway. Very near to the beautiful Shropshire Hills and various National Trust properties. The Ironbridge Museums are excellent and very near. Also the RAF Museum at Cosford is near. Near to the M54 motorway for access.

A charming town with a superb selection of good pubs, interesting shops and wonderful music venues. I recommend the terrace of Violets café for a good breakfast with great views, the courtyard of the old castle in for an excellent pint if it rains and the antique centre by the Northgate for picking up curios and interesting bargains

A lovely hotel in a great location for Bridgnorth (lower town). The hotel bar and lounge area is very nice and the Breakfast room has lovely views out into the garden. The room was warm but not overbearing and there were windows which we could open fully which was nice. The Complimentary tray had some very nice biscuits and a decent selection of teas and coffee. The room shape was unusual which we liked and the bedding was of good quality. The towels were in good supply and were fresh and fluffy. The lighting was good in the room also.

Location close to the town centre and restaurants/pubs/shops. Central heating was left on permanently and we could set the thermostat. Host provided milk, biscuits and other basics. Beds very comfy. Cleanliness was exceptional. Previous guests had written in the guest book provided giving tips on where to eat, what to see etc.
