Richard and Vicky seem to have thought of everything in this hi spec renovated property..clean, cosy, comfortable, fantastic village location where you can walk into the dales-they even provide the OS map to encourage exploration! Everything works as it should and we enjoyed complimentary crumpets and beautiful roses to look at even at this time of year. Thank you guys, your passion for this property and community is clearly evident.

Beautiful refurbished cottage. Rooms were fantastic. Spacious and bathroom was large. We also had a bath but the other room did not but was still magnificent. Lynne was a great hostess. So friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very knowledgeable. Her dog Clara was great too and loved a pat. Lovely little village.

The staff were excellent, from the greeting by Kieren and his consideration to suggest changing to downstairs room due to my mobility issues. Kimberley is so professional and attentive, and Jack, who was the cook while we were there, turned out top-notch food. The rooms were cosy and warm and beds comfy. Location to Grassington and Skipton excellent. Definitely will be back.

It was a great layout for 8 of us (4 couples in an extended family group). The kitchen dining area was great and the location in a lovely village with many pubs was fantastic for popping out and also it was easy to go for gentle walks from the property. 3 bathroom/shower rooms (one en suite) were lovely. Overall the house had the fees of someone’s holiday home that they let out and so get very welcoming.

Everything was exceptional, breakfast, location, facilities. Colin and Tina were perfect hosts, very kind and accommodating. I travel around the UK a lot and this was by far one of the best B&Bs I have stayed in. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you Colin and Tina.

Buckden is a beautiful village with plenty of walks to...

Buckden is a beautiful village with plenty of walks to woodlands, waterfalls, the river, the ridge, and Buckden Pike - the view from the ridge, even on a rainy day, was stunning. The Buck Inn serves delicious meals (portions are massive) and has the friendliest staff. There is a village shop, but it's possibly seasonal as it was closed during my stay.

The White Lion is situated outside of the village. quite a walk for someone with arthritis, so we took the car but seasoned walkers wouldn't find it a long trek at all and the scenery is beautiful.
