The Bayview Hotel was absolutely fabulous!!! From the moment we arrived, the staff were helpful and accommodating, the room was spotlessly clean and luxurious, the bed was unbelievably comfortable, the views were spectacular, the food ( breakfast and dinner ).....delicious!! It was beyond a 10/10!! Thank you to all the staff at Bayview Hotel who made our time in Portballintrae, and the hotel, such a wonderful experience. Cheers to all of you!!

Carnbore House is a beautiful B&B. We wanted to stay outside the main town and this was beautifully located, very scenic and yet only a short drive from Bushmills. Extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, great wifi, and all the amenities we could want. Breakfast was great with a good variety on offer. Ladine was a wonderful host, very welcoming, extremely helpful, and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable.

Brilliant location and truely lovely cottage. We felt so welcome. The cottage is beautifully decorated with everything you need and many thoughtful extras, we loved all the little animals. Such a special area. There is so much to see and do. Cutest little shops. Nature and Natural beauty is everywhere. You are practically tripping over the next inspiring view point. I was so happy the whole time we were there. Pubs, Beaches, Nature, People watching, We were there in the Autumn. It was easy to get parking. I can see that this area would be very popular. Loads of golf around. I am not into that but all the green adds to the beauty of the area.

Bushmills is a great base location if visiting Northern...

Bushmills is a great base location if visiting Northern Ireland and in particular the North Antrim coast. We visited cities and towns such as Belfast, Coleraine, Portrush, Portstewart, Ballymoney, Ballycastle and Ballintoy and attractions like the Giants Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, Ballintoy harbour etc. Bushmills has a number of Fish & Chip shops, Chinese takeaways and coffee shops which we sampled. Our favourite two places to eat out were the Sizzlin Sausage in Ballymoney (for a proper Irish Fried breakfast) and the Water Margin Chinese restaurant in Coleraine; both definitely worth a visit. You can't visit the area without trying Morelli's Ice-cream, which we did in Portstewart, Portrush and Ballycastle :-)

Bushmills is an historic town, not only home to the eponymous whiskey, it is at the heart of the stunning North Antrim Coast with all its amazing attractions. It is also becoming a bit of a foodie hub with several fabulous restaurants such as The Townhouse and Tartine. Magden specialist cheese and coffee shop is a local icon. Bushmills Inn is a must. Splash out on an Irish coffee if the budget does not run to dinner or a stay. Mike’s cafe does excellent hearty daily roasts as well as Thai specials. Excellent Gallery and Craft shops. Easy travel links across the North Coast.

Bushmills is a lovely place to visit.

Bushmills is a lovely place to visit. Suppose it’s not much more than a Main Street, but there are many nice eateries, and a walk along the River Bush is lovely - you may even see the fish jumping in the water! It’s in close proximity to the Giant’s Causeway, and there’s a park and ride facility which is handy.

Bushmills is a charming small town just minutes from the Giants Causeway, with beautiful rocky beaches nearby, several delightful pubs in town, and of course the Old Bushmills Distillery. The tour was a fascinating view into how whiskey is made and distributed. This was our first visit to Northern Ireland and the North Coast, and Bushmills was a highlight. We'll be back again one day!

Good tour at Bushmills Distillery Brooke was a very good guide! Carick - a - Rede beautifull views. Dark hedges best to visit very early in the morning. Giant Cause way visit after 18:00 hours... (than enterance is free).

Original chose this place as it was in close proximity to Giant's Causeway and Bushmills Distillery. While we liked the look of the property when first deciding where to stay, it was even better than expected. Beautifully decorated and we had a great room overlooking the paddocks and ocean toward Portballintrae. Amazing at sunset. We had dinner at the Restaurant in the hotel, which was outstanding. Breakfast was good also.

The apartment was so lovely, spacious, bright, very tastefully decorated and felt so homely including a wood burning stove. It was very well equipped with extra special touches such as fresh milk, eggs and flowers on arrival and coffee pods too! The property also had outdoor areas where you could eat or relax. Great place to stay in a peaceful area just 10 mins walk to Bushmills. We would definitely recommend.

Iv toured Ireland 🇮🇪 all week, leaving this as our last stop after fabulous hotels, BUT this was the best, first time glamping & the piping hot tub in the middle of a farm with cows in the background heaven, we were in it till 11, absolutely loves this place, spotless & so cosy. I’m hooked.
