The Old Posthouse B&B is located in the small village of Normandy by Spital. There are other charming villages nearby that are worth visiting. I was passing through and only spent one night at the Old Posthouse, but I could have easily spent more. I have traveled a lot but I can say that the Old Posthouse is one of the best places to stay that I have ever stayed. The rooms are clean and quiet. The house has a beautiful little garden where you can spend time. The Old Posthouse also has its own parking. The breakfast is excellent. I received thorough instructions well before check-in. However, the best thing about the Old Posthouse is the hosts: they are very friendly and helpful. I also got some good advice from them: Europe's largest antiques center in a former RAF base and The Crown Inn, a pub in nearby Glentham, where you can get excellent food. I would rate the Old Posthouse B&B an 11 if possible.

What a little gem. The March Hare is a gorgeous café in the centre of Market Rasen. The rooms are upstairs. Our room was Immaculately clean with white bedding and big fluffy white towels. Lots of lovely touches to make you feel welcome. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Very helpful and informative and so friendly - then we were also left to our own devices, which was great Great space for kids and lots of toys to play with and they called before arrival and checked on the age of the toddler, so went ahead and put a stair gate at the bottom! Couldnt fault them - thank you

It is self catering, the keys were in a lock box but easy to find and easy to open. The studio was spacious, spoke to the owner, he was very friendly and welcoming. Everything that we needed was provided... In fact, I did tell the owner that I was ready to buy it and move in. Absolutely brilliant, If you are looking for dog friendly, in a good location for walks, close to Lincoln and Grimsby, (for fish and chips), your not going to get much better. Large garden for the dog to run free... We had our own small garden to let the dog out in the evening and morning too.

A lovely quiet village with a great pub (which will be...

A lovely quiet village with a great pub (which will be serving food in the next month,) we were very much welcomed by the publican and locals; which made our stay all the more enjoyable! It has a small village shop/P.O. which was handy. The next village, a mile away had a big pub, The Crown, which served excellent food. Lovely walks in and around the village and Lincoln City/Market Rasen only 10-15 minutes away. Great location away from the 'hustle and bustle' !!

We didn't visit "Caenby", this B&B is in a village named...

We didn't visit "Caenby", this B&B is in a village named Normanby-by-Spital. It was chosen for near-proximity to an event we were attending in nearby Hackthorn, so we didn't spent any time in the village other than at the B&B, which was very comfortable and peaceful. We visited Lincoln during our stay, spending time in the historic cathedral quarter and on the waterfront - who'd ahve thought a city that's 30 miles inland would have that? Both were a very pleasant experience. I've wanted to visit Lincoln for many years and my wife hasn't been there since she was a child. We both had a relaxing and enjoyable time.
