We had a very nice stay for two nights at Royal Hotel! When calling the receptionist and telling that we would arrive late she arranged with the staff in the restaurant so they stayed overtime to serve a delicious meal. The restaurant served us very good cooked breakfasts as well as dinners. The housekeeper Bertie was very helpful taking care of our laundry. We had a nice room with good view over the harbour and castle Lewis. Göran and Andreas

The b&b has one guest room and is run by Olive, the best host ever. She overwhelmed us with her kindness, generosity and care. The guest room is very quiet and absolute clean. We had a wonderful stay! Highly recommended!

A lovely B&B and with such helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable, the wifi superb and the facilities great. The location was just a short walk away from the port as well as the main shopping area.

Set in a peaceful area between the hills and the sea, it made the perfect home base so we could tour the island. Booking things turned out to be very important on Lewis and Harris. If we knew that before, i.e. restaurants, ferry to Bernerea & Uist our schedule would have been more full.

The hiking in this area is unbelievable and the right to...

The hiking in this area is unbelievable and the right to roam means you have access to so much land. There are a lot of single track roads but these are in very good condition with mostly excellent views of the road ahead. There are a number of small lochs around the area which are great places to fish and walk.

Relaxing holiday in this beautiful location. Very quiet and peaceful . Everything you need in this very clean comfortable home. Steve and Tracy and welcoming hosts and their Hebridean Welcome pack was delicious.

Really well stocked kitchen despite the size - perfect for self catering needs (even managed a full roast dinner). Views from the bedrooms better than the island observatory - spotted our first golden eagle here.
