The location was wonderful, with two lovely pubs and places to eat only a 15 minute walk away. The cabin was very well equipped and cosy for 2 people and a dog. The setting was beautiful overlooking the area, with lots of space outside to relax. The village was so friendly and welcoming, and we can't wait to return.

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful location over the Christmas period. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, greeting us upon arrival with tea, coffee and mince pies. Much appreciated after a long drive. The cooked breakfast was the perfect size for us and I can especially recommend the home-made jam on hot buttered toast. All served with plenty of lovely hot coffee and tea.

Owner and staff were extremely friendly. Whilst travelling alone for work its always nice to stay in a friendly and open environment, and this hotel certainly didn't disappoint. After been given my room key of a lovely room I went downstairs for dinner and a drink in the nice pub/restaurant. After dinner I had a chat with the owner and staff whom were all very friendly. I was there for work, but if I would be going on holiday in the area, i would definitely stay a few nights with them again. I can recommend!

carno is a small welsh village with beautiful views over the cambrian mountains. in this village they is one pub and a spar shop . the nearest town is newtown which is about twenty minutes away by car or 12 miles . the town it self has a much better choice of food outlets including fast food, and a few pubs around the town. they is also a cinema and a tesco superstore as well as a petrol station, offering much greater choice as well as local shops

Ivan and Jacqui our hosts were lovely.

Ivan and Jacqui our hosts were lovely. The property and room are luxuriously decorated and appointed. Lovely quiet room with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Tasty, well cooked and plentiful breakfast with great choice. We will definitely stay again.

Breakfast was good and location perfect only a short stroll from the Aleppo pub for our bikers reunion party. Room was very comfy and well equipped. Shower room excellent I've seen far worse in so called 4 star hotels and plenty of towels and large enough too. TV on wall a bit small but then I wasnt really there long enough for it to be issue. Outside car parking plenty of space for my 4x4 and location in Carno village easy to get in and out. Apart from the price its 5 stars from me!.

It was a very good hotel and the pub side of it was great. My only issue was that the beds were a little hard, and in one of the rooms we stayed in, the heating couldn’t be turned off.
