Polochar Inn is on the southern tip of South Uist the view from the property is stunning. 360deg with Eriskay to the east, Barra across the sound to the south and North America just out of view across the horizon. 😎 The food was excellent in the morning for breakfast served in the panoramic restaurant with these fantastic views.😋😎 The staff were great, chatty and quick to fix up our room which had been set as a twin instead of a double. I would highly recommend this hotel to stay in or even just to go for a drink as the sun goes down with the waves lapping the rocks right in front of the entrances, there can't be many places with this kind of views😎👍👍👍

It was all excellent. Well equipped cottage. Great layout. The owner was easily contactable and popped by to meet us as well. The location was good, quiet with sea views. Perfect!

Beautiful location near a loch. Linda was very helpful and gave all relevant check-in instructions. The pod had everything that is needed for a relaxing holiday. We even got some practical info re shops and petrol station. Thank you for everything!
