Thrilled with our stay! My partner and I chose this hotel as our retreat after a lengthy day biking along the Pilgrim Way, and it exceeded all our expectations. The overall experience was nothing short of fantastic. A definite highlight was the hotel's restaurant – a culinary gem not to be overlooked. I must commend the kitchen for serving up one of the finest fish and chips I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying!

We stayed at the start of the summer holidays and hence were...

We stayed at the start of the summer holidays and hence were caught up in heavy traffic on the A20 enroute to Dover. Apparently that happens quite frequently, so factor this in to travel times. Very close to Leeds Castle, and not far from Canterbury and Sissinghurst so plenty to do in the area.

The Bowl Inn is not actually in Charing but about 2 miles...

The Bowl Inn is not actually in Charing but about 2 miles from the village down a narrow and windy country lane. The pub is on its own with hardly any other buildings within walking distance. Charing itself is an extremely attractive village and well worth a visit for an hour or so.

We have just had two wonderful days at The Red Lion. In addition to the absolutely beautiful appartement, Claire and Lee are the most friendly and caring hosts you could wish for. What a great combination. Great breakfast too. We will definitely be back when we are in the area. The Red Lion (Charing Heath): Highly recommended!

Lovely quiet hotel, double bed comfortable shower superb! Food portions enormous! Lovely food too! Really friendly staff, oak beams everywhere, great outside area Breakfast choice amazing cereals, continental and full English and cooked really well too

A little gem of a pub hotel. The room was excellent and a lovely touch having complimentary water a small prosecco bottles in the room. The food was excellent in the pub and the staff extremely friendly and helpful

Wonderful little find near to the channel tunnel. Great selection of beers and a lovely restaurant with friendly staff. I forgot my charger and staff said they would send on for me...very considerate.
