The layout of the house was great. Big table, big kitchen, all the appliances and utilies we needed. The bedrooms were a good size. The kids room with bunk beds a rill out bed was also very handy. The gage on the stairs was good too. The location was brilliant for us and what we planned. The coop opposite was good for shopping. The garden was great for the dog, small and compact but safe and secure so could happily let him for a wee and just watch him from the window. The communication with the owners was brilliant and so helpful. Many Thanks!

We used it to be near an excellent camping site where family members had a campervan and from where we could visit the beautiful Cotswold countryside, towns and villages. As ours was a short stay we didn't spend time exploring the town.

Chipping Norton is a lovely town with great Pubs and cafe's and shops. It is in an ideal location to travel to many lovely towns and villages and has nice walks all around. We had Sunday Dinner at The Fox which was gorgeous. The yorkie was huge, 4 slices of meat and plenty of veg. We had a celiac and they were very knowledgeable and had a good choice of gluten free. The staff were brilliant. Also visited The chequers and the food, staff and choice again was brilliant.

Nice little town with great pubs and close by to local...

Nice little town with great pubs and close by to local attractions. We stayed here so that we could visit the farmers dog and we were only 25 minutes away. We also visited a few of the other little towns and villages. Great location. We ate at Bitter & twisted one evening in chipping Norton. Staff were friendly and the food was lovely. Great value for money also. We would definitely return.

It's a lovely village as has numerous nearby villages that are definitely worth visiting. We were looking to have a chat with locals in a pub and weren't disappointed. Everyone we met was friendly to us and we certainly enjoyed the various village pubs we visited. We particularly liked the Blue Boar in Chipping Norton (sitting outside basking in the sun) and Chequers at Churchill - great atmosphere with good food and service. Also close to Diddly Squat and Farmer's Dog which we visited and were lucky enough to meet Gerald at the Farm shop. We didn't go into the shop or the pub but as a visitor we enjoyed the alternate experiences available.

I enjoyed the hotel and the grounds were lovely. Stairs were not the best in the hotel leading to all 3 restaurants, this is not ideal for people with aching joints. One lift was not working and I witnessed an older lady struggling with her 50+ daughter attempting to climb the stairs which were not many but too many for her. I think the atmosphere of the hotel suits 60+ guests better. We travelled out each day, however the places were very busy due to the bank holiday and parking is limited. We went to the brewery 39 mins from hotel , they have two beautiful shire horses. Food was fabulous and not badly priced.

Lovely pub with very friendly and helpful staff - wonderful warm welcome. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. Rooms hot but it was a heat wave. Some slight noise disturbances in one of our rooms - one a house alarm which was outside of the pubs control and the other was due to an early delivery - this was not a big issue and not enough to deter us from staying, but worth considering if you’re a light sleeper staying in one of the annex rooms. Rooms small in size but every you need and perfectly functional - lots of nice thoughtful little touches. Would recommend

We liked everything, we were surprised how spacious it was and it was lovely decorated and what was nice as they kept all the traditional features. It was clean, the staff were so friendly and made us feel welcome, we really enjoyed having a couple of drinks in the bar area and it was so cosy and warm breakfast was wonderful and we would highly recommend it, whist we was there we also visited diddly squat farm shop and it’s only a 6 minute drive to the hotel from there the area surrounding the hotel is also beautiful

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed in and would definitely recommend to anyone and stay again next time I’m in the Cotswolds. Facilities were as good if not better than any hotel I’ve stayed in, very clean and a lovely location! Rained like it was monsoon season but the lodge was that nice it more than made up for being stuck inside for a few hours! 10/10 couldn’t recommend enough!

This pub/hotel was a nice place in the centre of chipping norton. Check-in was easy, and the waitress who took us to our room was friendly and informative. Free beer, brandy, and flapjacks in the room on arrival were a nice touch. The room was spacious, clean, and warm. The food in the pub was lovely, and there was lots of space in the bar/restaurant area.

Immaculately clean, beautiful decor, modern and spacious. They have thought of everything, even down to the multi chargers next to the bed. We loved our time here, it's really easy to walk into Chipping Norton ( there is a hill) and very close to Diddly Squat if you're interested in that sort of thing.
