That was one very memorable, unique and mystical experience. We were welcomed late at 11:30 p.m. (late reception was very convenient for us) by the old gentlement who was very sweet, he've showed us many halls and told a bit about the history of the place. We didn't know it was a haunted house but you get the feel from the place at night. Long corridors, beautiful common rooms, we had a spooky late night as If were in the movie. Good breakfast, very nice new rooms. And morning walks around the castle, gardens and feeding peacocks were fantastic experience. Can't recommend it enough

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food at reasonable prices. Spa was fantastic, I had 2 treatments which were very good, and the gym was modern with plenty of choice. The beds were very comfortable and the room clean.

The property was very clean and the bed was very comfortable! Sue is a very generous host and breakfast was ample with some to take on the road. She’d thought of everything you might need for your stay.

Absolute gem of a farm. From initial booking to leaving Zia was helpful and so incredibly kind. The farm is amazing. My children enjoyed their time here so much and didn’t want to leave! They made friends with a girl here too and they would feed the animals together. An amazing end to our holiday in England and Wales and we are already planning our return. The bed is so comfortable and huge!!! The pictures don’t do this place justice, it’s looks great but it will exceed all expectations. Maisie and Bob will happily come over to you and my son loved this, I caught him having a chat with Bob as we were in the garden! Zia works hard to keep this place as special as it is and her passion shows. We truly loved our stay here, the woolly walk with the donkeys, and dinner with the alpaca girls won’t be beaten any time soon!

The place is absolutely beautiful. Immaculate throughout and the owners couldn't do enough for us. The bed is so comfy we both slept like a baby. Such a quiet and peaceful location. We 100% recommend this gorgeous place, we will definitely be back... in fact... we are already planning our next trip. 👌

The local pub The White Horse is great and just a short...

The local pub The White Horse is great and just a short stagger away. Lovely home cooked food with a bit of a twist. Cilcain is small but has a lovely community shop staffed by volunteers from around the village. Nothing is too much trouble and the people living in Cilcain are so friendly. It's walking country so be prepared for that. We loved it here myself and my wife with our daughter and son-in-law stayed for a family wedding a few miles away. It felt more like a holiday. Great.
