There isn't anything not to like at Shibden mill inn. The setting is beautiful. The staff are amazing. The food is excellent and the service second to none. My husband and I celebrated our Ruby wedding anniversary with a two night stay at shibden mill and we were looked after from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. Thank you all. This hotel is wonderful. Was a little worried from reading the mixed reviews, but wow, our room, welcome and everything provided has been top notch. Was even upgraded to a nicer room and welcomed with some beautiful bakery treats and a hand written note of welcome from the guest service team. Very happy and after a long drive, this welcome with a cup of tea whilst admiring the view of Bradford from the window is truly lovely. We’re in room 422, which is new and really lovely. Can’t fault it and will definitely stay here again plus recommend to others. Well done to guest services for creating such a lovely, unique, comfortable stay.

I know the area very well I used to live in Liversedge which is actually where Healds Hall is as I already have visited it for different reasons before. The hotel is not far from Cleckheaton as I used to work in Cleckheaton but I was visiting my daughter for Christmas and although our visit was too short we had a great time and I would very much recommend this hotel.

The locals very friendly and hospitable. Nice restaurants which are very varied. We dined at Healds Hall Hotel and the food was amazing, but you need to book a table in advance as it is very popular and can get busy. The staff there ensure you get your chosen meal piping hot. they are very hard working and work as a team very efficiently. Really lovely staff.

Terrible, disappointing, lacked basic comforts, no heating, no hot water, toilet in one of the rooms kept breaking, no food or breakfast options, no bar both of which is predicted on website, no-one available was that helpful or overly concerned. No onsite staff in hotel, no-one! A weekend cut short due to the faults above and the most uncomfortable stay! Contact was by telephone which meant time waiting.

Perhaps we didn't see the best bits, but our impression was of a drab urban wasteland. The hotel was a good base for the must-visit coalmine, and we also went to Haworth and Hebden Bridge. We ate at the hotel (one of the best ever!)

From the moment we booked in at reception, everything was fantastic. We were a late booking as were attending a wedding at the Hotel on the Friday 22nd. My wife is a vegan, and the food at the wedding for her was exceptional, a special mention must go to the lady on reception on our arrival, Matt the manger for his attention to detail and the lady at breakfast time for her being so helpful for my wife, and the chef for his preparation to my wife for her vegan food at he wedding and breakfast

The host went above & beyond to make our stay the best it could be! Excellent service & communication throughout our stay. The hotel is right in the town centre, 2 minutes walk from the bus station & 2 minutes walk to shops, restaurants, pubs/bars. The bed was soooooo comfy!! Hotel was quiet. We really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel set in it’s own grounds. Clean, spacious room with lovely views from the window. Comfortable bed. Good location for Cleckheaton town, which is approx 15 mins walk away down a hill. Friendly staff. Would stay here again.
