We came across The Morecambe Hotel by chance. And it is wonderful. At first glance, it is a simple building, but inside it is so cozy, harmonious and beautiful - both the restaurant and the rooms. This place definitely had an incredibly talented Designer who felt colors and textures at the highest level. Textiles, wood, furniture, expensive high-quality plumbing... Perfect, harmonious, everything in moderation. Selected paintings and ornaments. You won't feel this in words until you try it yourself. Very clean all, restaurant and room. Comfortable beds with high-quality natural textiles, a calm, quiet street, I finally really got a good night's sleep. An open courtyard with access only from the restaurant with tables and a playground is just a luxury, and parents can relax and children have a place to have fun. The Chef. Really delicious dishes and very refined presentation. The breakfast, of course, simply won us over, it was a surprise for us. Breakfast is included in the room rate and each dish is prepared by the chef to the choice of each guest, this is in addition to the buffet style. And of course, this place is made by hardworking people - honestly, I have never met so much care, kindness, peace, openness and simple humanity as here. This place deserves to be marked with all the awards many, many more times. Prosperity to you all and your guests! Thank you all very much for made my break amazing and come back me to life! Thank you all in this charming hotel.

The Staff at the Crown is absolutely amazing. We had quite a rookie journey and they were incredibly helpful, we can't thank them enough for their hospitality and everything they've provided for us. Rooms nice and comfy and clean, bar / restaurant the same, breakfast was very nice and included, overall excellent value for money and no negatives. Went for our sons Graduation and location great, 3 separate rooms ( with breakfast ) cheaper than 1 elsewhere.

Very quiet overnight stay in a comfortable room. Ambient bar area, great location, excellent food and wine, ample safe parking and we’re happy for us to leave our car after checking out in order to go for a walk.

The location is lovely.

The location is lovely. The bed was far too soft unfortunately for us. Although we have stayed in the same room before somehow you felt as if you could easily roll of the bed. There was only a small soap no other toiletries which we were expecting maybe we read description incorrectly?

Loved Conder Green! Very peaceful & relaxing.

Loved Conder Green! Very peaceful & relaxing. Lots of beautiful countryside/ coastal walks. 10 minutes from the M6 but feels like another world! Enjoyed watching the herons, terns, egrets on the marshland & highly recommend The Stork (though we didn't stay there the food was excellent!). A visit to Sunderland Point was very interesting. If you visit here check the tide times as it's cut off by the tides twice a day! No pubs/ cafes here so take your own food/drinks. Well worth a half day visit.

liked location and friendly welcome and the room situation on top floor with view of the canal and lock. Food was OK but nothing special. Hotel has a wedding function room so could be noisy but no wedding while we were there. Find value for money poor throughout the UK and this is no exception but better than most.

This was our third vist to the Mill at Conder Green, having visiting twice in 2018. It was great to be back and revisit previous visits. The rooms are great here and I really like the bar and restaurant. Our welcome at reception was great, and support continued even after we left as my partner had mistakenly left a bag behind and the hotel called to tell me so I could go back for it. We will definitely be booking a 4th stay in the future.

Warm welcome from the friendly receptionist. Huge bedroom with lovely views from window. Bed and pillows so comfy resulting in a great night's sleep. Really good breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel. Already planning to return in the warmer weather.
