Crail is a very attractive and interesting place, from the historic harbour and all round the town. Full of unteresting corners, arts and crafts, lots of walks around the town and also the coastal walks access. Proximity to several lovely gardens and other places of interest.

A beautiful small harbour town and an excellent location to explore the East Neuk area of Fife. Very handy for a visit to Cambo House and St Andrews also. A visit to the Crail Museum is also highly recommended; especially if you are a golfer!!

The golf hotel and the golf society in my opinion are the only places worth repeated visits if you are looking for good honest food at very reasonable prices -- together with courtious anh very helpful staff. Although St Andrews is on your door step Crail offers peace , good food , excelent accommodation , two great golf courses and a Gin Distillery as well as a Rapter centre close by.

Crail is a pretty village with a very picturesque harbour. It is historic. It has many old houses with some dating from the 17th century. Several crafty shops and several cafes...one of which is looking over the sea near the harbour.

    I loved Crail.

I loved Crail. The village was so amazing the views out of this world. The bus service was great and the public really helpful. The Harbour is on a hill in case your pushing a wheelchair, its okay going down but it will be a little tricky coming up. Food was great, but not a lot of pubs. The coastal walk was closed the days I was there but, the bus driver took me to the nearest entrance so I could walk the coast pathway.
