    Cuckfield is a lovely village with beautiful countryside...

    Cuckfield is a lovely village with beautiful countryside around. Wheatsheaf Inn is a great place to stay. It's easy to go to Haywards Heath station from here and get connections to London Gatwick for a flight................Express takes only 10 minutes.

    Cuckfield is a small village, which has retained its character and has plenty of interesting walks, whilst well placed to visit other places and a large number of well known gardens in close proximity, such as Borde Hill Gardens or Nymans.

    Cuckfield can only be seen as a base as it is a one street...

    Cuckfield can only be seen as a base as it is a one street village with a couple of nice shops and a couple of cafe/tearooms and not much else. If you want more interesting pursuits you need a car as there is no station (nearest Hayward Heath £10 taxi ride) and one bus available every 1 or 2 hours. Beware I do believe there are no ATM available

    Didn’t see much of Cuckfield itself but it looked a pretty...

    Didn’t see much of Cuckfield itself but it looked a pretty village and the Wheatsheaf was a great place to stay, eat and drink. The village is near to Bolney Wine Estate which offers excellent tours, tastings and a restaurant.

    Stayed in a junior suite above the SPA.

    Stayed in a junior suite above the SPA. Comfortable and spacious room with roof terrace. The staff were all very friendly and courteous, obviously well trained.The breakfast was first class and dinner in the restaurant was excellent. The room service was quick. Had to cut stay short due to a family issue and the staff could not of been more understanding and helpful.

    amazing place, staff are all first rate, really friendly, really welcoming. the hotel is an old tudor house, and has the warm cosy feel of a cottage, big open fires, cosy reception rooms, bedroom was really comfy as well. everything about it is old and chunky in a good way the spa is the polar opposite, modern, immaculate highly recommended, even if you dont fancy the spa

    Lovely spa with clean, modern facilities, indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, good fun on a cold sunny March morning. Excellent massage. Friendly staff. Older rooms had character, modern rooms were nicely done, pleasant drawing room to sit and have a drink in, overall an excellent hotel for a comfortable short break.

    Apart from the small size of rooms (which the hotel could not alter) I would give this location 100%. Staff were first rate and considerate. All the necessary facilities (shampoo, lovely towels, wifi, etc.) were supplied. Will definitely visit again if in the area.

    Had a lovely stay, so peaceful and very connected to nature. Natasha was very welcoming and advised me on local dog walks, which were fab. Cuckfield is a very quaint village.
