People were warm and friendly. Room was spotless. The breakfast was great and the suppers we had there were large and tasty. We were accommodated in all questions we had and with the greatest of care. We were total strangers from another country Canadians who were treated like royalty.

Such a beautiful and atmospheric place with amazing river side garden. Lovely to sit outside on a summer evening with a relaxing beer. My room also had a wonderful view towards the river. The creakiness was part of the character that makes it a special place. Nice breakfast, lovely friendly staff. Close to centre of town and next to the abingdon Abbey remains.

We were in a wonderful room on the top floor that left nothing to be desired. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was outstanding! Even though the hotel is a bit out of the way, there is a bus around the corner that takes you to the city center every 15 minutes. We would love to come back as a family!

I had a wonderful experience at the Coach and Horses. The service was excellent from the moment I arrived and nothing was too much trouble. The layout of the property was perfect and the fact that they had no issues with me whatsoever in keeping my bike in the room was a major bonus, I did not even need to ask, it was a service they happily offered. The room was clean and comfortable, the dinner was excellent and because of my early departure they even provided me with some milk and cereals for my room as I would be leaving too early for breakfast. I would highly recommend this property...

I like the attractive garden & terrace areas, good pub menu...

I like the attractive garden & terrace areas, good pub menu & freshly prepared breakfast with a tick sheet for options. The rooms are interesting conversions which have made what was a pub into what is really a very pleasant small hotel. The immediate Thames valley area is beautiful but you can get on a train to London right by the the Inn.

Breakfast was very good and the evening meals that we had were adequate and were reflected in the price. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. It was an ideal location for picking up the train to Oxford and Didcot Parkway as Culham station was just a few steps away. Lots of lovely villages around the area.

Competively priced but it was Cheltenham Races week so other hotels were out of my budget In the middle of nowhere, but close to a station which I assume was a mainline from Oxford to Didcot etc... Great food especially breakfast

Friendly staff and owners (and Brunel the dog!) The place is cosy and welcoming, the room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Perfect for anyone visiting the Culham Science Centre.
