We came up to Corwen for the British Masters XCountry Championships. The hotel was really well placed to get to the Rhugg Estate on time. We had an impeccably clean, lovely room, overlooking the river. It was a very quiet room, which was great just before a race. The pub/hotel looked recently, tastefully decorated and the restaurant area overlooked the valley and river. The breakfast was delicious and really well cooked. Overall a great two days.

Really enjoyed the continental breakfast delivered to our room. We took it outside & ate on the picnic benches. Loved the decor in the Inn. Great racing car memorabilia. Good walks from the Inn.

Wow! This little b&b far exceeded our expectations. We were greeted upon arrival and shown to a lovely comfortable and very clean room. The gentleman was kind and polite and gave us great advice about where to eat. My daughter and I were tired from our Snowdon hike and were relieved that we had booked such a lovely room with soft and comfortable beds. We loved reading all about the history of the coachhouse in the ledger! The breakfast in the morning was very nice and we were even given a breakfast doggy bag to see us right for our journey back to London. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this b&b.

The host sent good directions to find the property- we had no issues despite having no phone signal. The cabin is beautiful and perfectly formed - a very cost space with everything you need for a couple of nights away. The log burner was an excellent feature and kept us nice and toasty during our chilly November visit. It was lovely of the hosts to stock this with logs, firelighters and matches. The bed was comfortable and big enough for 2. The cabin had electric lighting and hot water, and the host even provided a battery pack to charge phones. The location was incredibly peaceful, tucked away on a large farm and in a valley. There was a lovely stream running through the large fenced garden which was lovely to sit by in the evening, and my dog loved paddling. It was very quiet and relaxing - my anxious reactive dog was in his element as soon as he leapt out of the car! Wonderful stay.

The cottage is warm and welcoming and the views amazing. It's in such a beautiful part of the country with lots to see and do. Cliff and Jan are wonderful hosts who can't do enough for you. The house is well stocked with everything you might need including logs for the wood burner and there's a wonderful pub just down the road. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, exploring the area.

Wow! This little b&b far exceeded our expectations. We were greeted upon arrival and shown to a lovely comfortable and very clean room. At the village 2 miles away there's a beautiful little steam...

At the village 2 miles away there's a beautiful little steam railway with a very cute period station that leads right away down to Llangollen the further down the Valley there was the canal aqueduct across the river Dee an incredible experience walking over it. You can hire a kayak if you are brave enough!

Nice quiet village where the pub was, however they did not...

Nice quiet village where the pub was, however they did not do food on Monday and Tuesday. Very nice host, and the young man behind the bar was friendly. Great size room, continental breakfast. Was good to know that the owners had brought the pub back to life for the village. The owner sent us to a lovely pub that was doing food with a fantastic views.
