Attention to detail was excellent even a pair of binoculars in the room to look at the view and wildlife. Breakfast was to a very high standard in beautiful surroundings. The grounds were lovely and footpaths well maintained.

The grounds were spacious and beautifully kept. We enjoyed the Spring flowers. Being able to walk through to the seafront was a bonus. We didn't come to swim but there was a nicely appointed pool area as well as a special dog park in the grounds. The dining room had a very pleasant outlook over the garden. We enjoyed an evening meal there as well as breakfast. The breakfast options were extensive and good quality, with dishes regularly replenished. There was a heater in the bedroom which I appreciated on the cool Spring night.

Comfortable one night stay… paring is not a hassle. If you don’t get the space at the hotel, park at sea front which is free from 6 till 9 morning. The reception guy in the evening was very friendly and welcoming, and helped us with luggage. Breakfast was great and fulfilling . Would return surely.

I like the location and the facilities, and the general layout of the caravan site. It is only a short walk from the train station and the beach in Dawlish Warren, so it is convenient. This allowed us to easily travel to Dawlish, Paignton, Teignmouth, and Torquay for days out by train or bus. There are good local amenities like shops, takeaways and pubs. There is also an onsite shop which is open between 9:00am and 6:00pm which was useful for buying milk on the first day we stayed there.

The beach itself was fantastic and scenic.

The beach itself was fantastic and scenic. Amusement park on site at the beach with places to east too. Nature reserve by the beach, train watching spots too. The Chip Thief has to be the best fish and chips we’ve had too 10min drive or 50min walk to Dawlish town where the black swans are and Gays Creamery for a cake. Utterly tremendous and beautiful place to visit

We loved the whole place, the walks, the beach and the fact that almost everywhere was dog friendly. Teignmouth was a 10 minute drive, also very pleasant and Dawlish was 5 minutes away. We preferred Dawlish Warren for the scenery and the walks. Plenty of places to eat, fish and chips, pubs, etc. mini funfair for the kids. Good carparks, around £3.50 for 2 hours so a little pricey. Cannot comment on the quality of the eateries as we didnt eat out. Overall at this time of year (October) although the weather may not be the best, the place it is very peaceful and quiet. Not sure it would be in the height of summer!
