Stumbled upon it when looking through bookings, so very surprised when we got here and found it so beautiful.

Excellent experience and very comfortable

Everything - location was great as a stepping stone to journey to the Highlands. Bar area was spacious, staff helpful and breakfast was good. We were delighted that on arrival we were upgraded to a suite. The room was great and had a jacuzzi bath.

Fabulous and comfortable and beautiful scenery

Absolutely fantastic stay. Staff were fabulous. Service in the restaurant was first class. I really enjoyed the Strathaven Hotel.

For the last 15 years my husband and I have always used travel lodges as the years have gone by their prices have gone up but the state of their property's have got really bad staying at days Inn was a breath of fresh air and from now on that is where I shall be staying no more travel lodges

The staff were all friendly and made us feel welcome. The restaurant opened the weekend we stayed and the food was gorgeous. I'm a vegetarian and I've never had such good options for breakfast. It was my first time having 'black pudding!' I can highly recommend staying at the hotel.

Lovely decorated room with a really comfortable room. We had a very delicious breakfast. It was the best on our trip. The owner of the B&B were really nice and gave us good tips where to go for dinner. Thanks for your hospitality

We had a wonderful stay! Alan was the most welcoming host and the accommodation was superb - clean, cozy and stylish. The breakfast was excellent and our personal preferences were taken account. We will definitely come again if we are in the area.

Fantastic facility, new, modern, and clean, with a touch of luxury. Well looked after accommodation.Comfortable. Pleasant host , nice breakfast, good location between Edinburgh and Glasgow ( we were able to visit both cities ) At 4 beds, we did expect the large room we got, but the bathroom was a nice surprise, large and spacious, modern, clean, and with a perfect shower. Natural light , free parking, perfect stay. Suggestion : as we arrive late in a new area and in the dark we found the place very easy thanks to the GPS; however I thing same simple props like Xmas lights until 10- 11pm up the alley , on every 2nd plant barrel and/ or on the wood fence in front will only help new arrivals. Personal preferences: 1) all interior walls painted in one neutral colour, stone, magnolia 2) Wash the rug in good weather with a hose & detergent & brush. This rustic method is my way of cleaning much preferred over dry cleaning or any other stain removal method 3) The BEAUTIFUL large glass doors overlooking the patio had children fingerprints on it , make sure you target this area so tempting for ppl to touch as one can only admire the gorgeous view but some are....tactile The majority don't even notice such a detail, but a clean freak like me has a problem with windows finger marks 4) This is a peaceful and quiet location However, it is true that in the morning, we could hear the motion above. Nothing upsetting, ppl moving around. For us, was the cue to wake up and get ready for the latest breakfast at 8.45
