This Inn is very historically old which was fantastic!!! It is small and intimate, the staff welcoming and friendly. Our room was well appointed, large with excellent bedding. Unknown to us the restaurant is known for its food, wine selection and service and although they were fully booked on a Saturday night they accommodated us as we were guests of the Inn. Excellent South African meal!!

THe room was really big, there was a little garden too!! the peapole were amazing, the beds were not made aout of plastic, but out of fethers, soooooo confortable. it was also in a really strategic position, expecially in you want to go fishing in the famus chalk rivers or sight seeing in histroric places like stone hendge.

Lovely village.

Lovely village. We didnt get to explore much though, due to the weather and time constraints on our trip, but we had a wonderful time at our cottage catching up with special friends and would love to return again.
