It’s a very quiet relaxing little village, you can just forget the hustle of the modern world and relax in its natural beauty. The views are just amazing and it’s very close to some of the Scotlands most treasured sites to visit.

It's a tiny place and was of interest to us because of the "Outlander" connection. To be honest, apart from the castle, there's not much to Falkland. Many businesses including restaurants have closed down. It all looked like a town in decline

An absolute must see for Outlander fans.

An absolute must see for Outlander fans. Such a wonderful little village with an olde worlde vibe. Worth a visit on its own merits, without the Outlander connection. Great walks in the hills above. Falkland Palace & gardens are a must see too.

Lovely guest house in a beautiful location,

Lovely guest house in a beautiful location, Staff seemed friendly enough, we stayed in the outlander room it was very small but clean and tidy, the bed was awful extremely uncomfortable so both my partner and I didn’t get much sleep at all 😕 maybe a little overpriced I thought for the size of the room we paid £100 which did include breakfast that was very nice and the chef was lovely very friendly.

What a lovely old village!

What a lovely old village! It is small but full of very old buildings, including the Stuart's country palace. It is interesting to walk around. We stayed at the Bruce Inn in a building dated 1607.

Breakfast adequate only had it one day, room no wardrobe 4 hooks on wall 3 hangers. Room out of hotel walk way to another front door open all night stairs to 2 rooms upstairs we had one.. Wet room flooded everywhere. Boom boom music in background from 2pm until 9 monotonous came from down stairs. At least a warm room to sleep in.

The house was set in beautiful gardens which we were allowed to freely roam. Our Host was so friendly and nothing was too much bother. He made us feel very welcome which added to the lovely relaxing time we had. The location was ideal as it was set right in the cenre of Falkland.

We knew the Location of Falkland as being a quaint and old historic Village/town and chose it particularly. We were renting a Villa For our whole family and it was perfect for our requirements but had charm too. I would book it again.
