The community pub vibe could be felt everywhere, it was so friendly and practical and helpful. The room and bathroom decor was "sophisticated rustic charm" without being pretencsious. The whole experience was exceptional. We will be back for a longer period for sure.

Clean and comfortable room with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits (good quality) included. Great shower and en=suite facilities. Plenty of hanging space and drawers for clothes. Breakfast and other food was exceptional.

A very impressive building from the driveway. We were greeted with a lovely welcome in reception. Our room was lovely. Very comfortable and the views were amazing from two sides of the building. The food was delicious and they had a good selection of zero alchol drinks. Our bottle of Zero Freixenet was brought to us in an ice bucket which was a lovely touch and made it feel "Real ", which added to our enjoyment. Breakfast was lovely there was something for everyone. The lady on breakfast service was very happy and welcoming, and made us fee very at home. The chef too, was very friendly over the breakfast domes. A fantastic stay. We loved the lounge with the fireplace.

It was cosy, had a lovely ambience and I felt right at home. The staff, from the receptionists to the staff in the kitchen and bar and the housekeeping team were all so lovely, courteous and helpful.

Hare and Hounds hotel and Pub... great quiet location....and would use it again if we were in this area. Beautiful surrounding countryside, Skiptons very busy , parkings a problem ! but Hebdon Bridge and Haworth was well worth a visit too

Sharon was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Chalet lovely. The views are stunning. The staff were again friendly and helpful. Lovely extra being able to use the swimming pool. Very relaxing environment, had a wonderful stay. I would have no hesitation recommending to others.

Staff friendly nothing too much trouble we ate in the...

Staff friendly nothing too much trouble we ate in the restaurant all week as the food and service was excellent. Last evening the chef even made just me a caesar salad as that was what I really wanted Stayed for seven nights shame it wasn't longer will definitely be back

Warm and friendly pub.

Warm and friendly pub. Loads of walks nearby for hikers or dog walkers. Best pub food ever, thanks to chef Steve. His wife Jovi is lovely, professional and organised. The situation of the pub is by a busy road so you may have obvious traffic noise.

A lovely area and ideal for local villages such as Skipton and Gargrave. Plenty of countryside walks. Motorway only 5 minutes away so good for shopping and only 1 hour from Manchester airport or Leeds/Bradford airport.

I was born and brought up in this area and always remember...

I was born and brought up in this area and always remember Foulridge with affection, there were more attractions then, more industry and much much less traffic. Due to reduction in local industry and people being prepared to travel for suitable employment it seems to be more of a dormitory village but industries close by obviously operate 24/7, consequently hgvs run through the village all during the night and daytime traffic though mixed is constant. Cafe Cargo adjacent to the canal is an ideal place for those who need a substantial meal or light lunch or snack some may think it expensive but the location is excellent and worth paying for.
