Everything was great. From the room, to Chris and Ellie, to the breakfast, my partner and I enjoyed every minute in Foyers, and our only regret was not staying for longer. We were lucky enough to have wonderful conversations with Chris and Ellie's pictures of Scotland were gorgeous. They helped us a lot with getting around Scotland and were gracious enough to stay up late and wait for our arrival when we were late for the check-in time after getting a bit lost in the highlands. The room was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. We even got to pet Peep the friendly rooster. Overall, I'll be waiting to return to Scotland one day and defiantly spend some more time around Loch Ness and in Foyers Bay in particular.

Absolutely amazing, good size of room (double room), all you need for your stay. Loved the design of room, lovely furniture, someone thought it all through, simple, yet good, all you need really. Room was quiet (room 6), even though the hotel was packed with people. Great pub with very tasty Guinness and very welcoming staff. Great dinner, prices acceptable. Lovely breakfast as well, nothing to comment. I really enjoyed my stay and if I'd ever return to the area, I'd chose this hotel again.

The whole experience at this place was excellent.

The whole experience at this place was excellent. The scenery was to die for. The staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic and other travellers were lovely to meet. The most comfortable bed and pillows we have stayed in throughout our entire trip. The manager is an exceptional helpful, lovely person, would highly recommend this facility to travellers. It’s a little hard to find and the road is not the best but well worth the effort 😀

An especially beautiful section of Loch Ness with stunning views, and walking the Falls of Foyers was reason alone enough to visit. The Waterfall Cafe is a very welcome stop, and I recommend the cheese and haggis toasties when you're there.

Our visit to Foyers Bay Hotel was exceptional.

Our visit to Foyers Bay Hotel was exceptional. Elly and Chris made us instantly feel at home. They cooked a beautiful hot breakfast for their guests with plenty of choices. Dinner was also cooked on request. The room was comfortable and clean. We loved the quiet, relaxed country feel to the place and the visiting wildlife such as deer and badgers.

Wonderful place on the south side of Loch Ness. The waterfall is spectacular and the hiking in woodland is astounding. It’s one of the few places around the lake where you can actually hike along the coast..

Foyers is in a beautiful part of the world.

Foyers is in a beautiful part of the world. It is in the country side therefore you can see a part of Scotland that the usual tourist doesn't see. I loved the garden and the rambling old house, looking over Loch Ness. The most important part was the comfortable bed and quite well appointed room. The owners were delightful and made us very comfortable. It is not far from a local pub where you can get a lovely meal. The breakfast that was included was scrumptious and substantial. I wish we had stayed a bit longer.

We received a lovely warm welcome from Chris at Foyers and loved every moment of our stay. The property and setting are beautiful with a view from the dining room of the pretty garden and it's wildlife as well as a direct view to Loch Ness. Our pretty room was great, with everything we needed including a private door to a small enclosed area and the garden - perfect for our dog. Elly whipped up delicious dinner and breakfast and our spaniel, Pringle, loved her breakfast sausage. We were grateful to Chris for his recommendation of dog walking spots which were great. Arrive as guests & leave as friends - we did! Can't wait to return for longer.

The hotel was a lovely family run business that pays great attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was first class and fresh and catered for all the gluten free needs of my husband. They welcomed our dog and treated him like the lord that he has now learned to become!! Our room was very comfortable, spacious, clean and the bathroom fully equipped with toiletries. The view to Loch Ness was lovely as was watching the red squirrels at breakfast as well as the birds from the lovely breakfast conservatory.

Check in was easy - Louise took me through all the things that I needed to know, and gave me some excellent advice about the Marathon Road Closures which probably saved me a lot of money in taxi fares (THANK YOU!). I was in a room with a shared bathroom - the shower room and toilet where in perfect condition. The bedroom itself had everything I needed - a very comfy double bed and a fantastic view of Loch Ness. A local shop is 1-2 minutes away, plus you are very close to Falls of Foyers.

The property was very clean, comfortable and contained everything you needed for your stay. The map of Loch Ness was appreciated and the jar of dog biscuits would be a thoughtful touch for those able to bring their furry friends. A good night sleep was had by all. A perfect location for Loch Ness, an easy stroll to the shore from the property. Communication was spot on and extremely detailed which made finding the place really easy and our stay went smoothly.

Amazing location overlooking Loch Ness and the food and service was exceptional. We ate both dinner and breakfast there and it was all phenomenal food wise. Couldn’t fault it. The room was brilliant, well decorated and cleaned. The staff were also extremely friendly and made sure we were looked after! A very cosy, happy start to our honeymoon! Thank you very much.
