everything was very high quality and lots of thoughtful amenities. the staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. I really liked this hotel and will stay again if we are in the area. Also very dog friendly with a nice welcome pack for our dog.

This was a lovely place to stay. Rooms are situated at the back of the pub. There is a car park as well. Breakfast was lovely. The pub also served evening meals which was beautiful

Nicky and Fraser are incredible hosts, they (along with their beautiful and very friendly dogs (Jack Russell & Ridgeback)) made us feel so welcome. The location is 10/10 We stayed in one of the rooms upstairs and were blown away by the view from the balcony overlooking the river and fields below. The room was perfect; a mix of modern features (loved the shower button) and classic high quality furniture. Nicky and Fraser happily gave us an entire list of great places to visit (Maiden Castle is a hidden gem). Breakfast was so good I had to ask Nicky for her secret to perfecting it, and she didn’t even bat an eyelid when we asked if it was possible to have our breakfast on the balcony of our room (somehow we were the first to ever request this).
