The location, is amazing. This is our second time staying at Poppy Lodge. Our first was September 2024. The lodge is very clean and presentable. The owner sent me a couple of messages before the stay and a cot was available for our young daughter. The lodge is spotless, the owners clearly must spend a lot of time between guests keeping on top of it. The views are gorgeous from the lodge and if you walk up around the park itself. Thank you again Marion, from Adam, Kirsty, Erin.

This is by far the best hotel in UK that we stayed. Everyone is very polite, professional and knows exactly what they’re doing. Facilities are incredible, as well as surrounding areas. We are already planning to go back.

I liked everything! I don't understand were the negative reviews came from. The castle is beautiful, located on the hill, by the forest. the rooms are huge, beautifully decorated, very very clean! the bathroom is a pleasure! the room has everything you might need. the breakfast is tasty. we also had a nice dinner. Very short drive from Stirling castle

The site is in a lovely location surrounded by woodlands,...

The site is in a lovely location surrounded by woodlands, hills and stunning scenery however visitors should be aware that there are no shops, pubs or restaurants within the immediate vicinity but plenty of choice within a 20 minute drive. It is a peaceful place to relax and enjoy some fantastic walks.

The site is very tranquil, there are some lovely walks nearby. You need to remember and take everything you’ll need as there aren’t much shops / restaurants nearby. It’s a nice piece of heaven to relax, read a book and enjoy the stunning sceanery.

A great clean lodge with everything and more needed for our...

A great clean lodge with everything and more needed for our stay! Fab views and near to amenities/places to go during our stay. Lots of information given before arrival. Arrived to a lovely cosy lodge and a comfortable two night stay. Would have stayed longer if we had time! Recommended to go to The Inn at Muckhart 10 minutes drive for a lovely meal. Would also recommend to family and friends and come back another time soon!

LOVELY WOODLAND WALKS, WE ATE AT THE LODGE ALL WEEKEND BUT THERE ARE PLACE TO EAT 10 MINUTES IN A CAR, ALSO PLACES THAT DELIVER FOOD, INDIAN, CHINESE ETC. WENT TO A CASTLE IN DOLLAR WITH LOVELY WALKS.
