My sister and I loved our one night at this cozy home on a serene property in a quiet neighborhood. This location would be suited for day trips to the Inverness area, Skye, Ben Navis, etc. Our bedroom and the beds were so comfortable, the bathroom was large, modern and clean, and the breakfast was outstanding!! It included everything our heart could possibly desire and it was enjoyed around the dining room table with a few other guests. Sheila was a delight, and has amazing attention to detail. She thought of everything - this BnB has every amenity including coffee, milk, tea, water in the room, DVDs to borrow, hair dryers, shampoo and conditioner, large towels, etc. and she gives you a thorough walk-through to ensure you know where everything is and how everything works. Allan helped prepare the tasty breakfast. Their place is really special and I would’ve enjoyed more time there.

The Cluanie Inn is situated in the remote wilderness of the picturesque Glen Shiel on the way to the Isle of Skye.

The hotel was really beautiful. In the middle of highlands, deer just few steps from our window, cosy room. The staff was very nice. We can recommend also theirs restaurant and bakery.

We really really enjoyed this stay. There was only one other couple staying in the accommodation so it was really quiet which was perfect (and the other couple were lovely). The room had everything we needed (except shampoo/conditioner - I used the hand wash instead which could have been risky but it actually did a fine and glossy job!). We utilised the kitchen/common room facilities and everything was there that we were expecting. We knew there were no cooking facilities so we'd packed up a pre-prepared picnic dinner; being able to use the plates, crockery and washing up facilities was therefore great. The breakfast was delicious - a great continental served in the café with lovely croissants. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff we met were absolutely lovely and we had a really beautiful stay. We also did the oak, juniper and heather routes around the centre before coming back for a delicious chai and mocha the afternoon we left.
