We had a very lovely 3-night stay at the Painswick Hotel, we stayed in the Sladbrook room which has a beautiful view over the garden and the valley. It is such a relaxing place, but equally there are so many things to do around, depending on what your interests are. We visited Broadway and Stroud. Libby was very kind and helped us with a lot of information about what was worth visiting, and with anything else we needed. Adriana was very, very friendly, she looked after us every morning at breakfast. The food was very good, the menu is not very big, but everything we had was delicious. We will definitely return.

Superb staff that made us feel at home, Phillipe is an asset to the business. Room is huge, the bathroom lavish and all the extras that you need. Just a pity that we didn't stay longer but enjoyed every minute we were there.

Layout was nice and comfortable; room was clean and appealing; restaurant meals were nice and staff were helpful. Easy check-in (done online) and only had to pop in and pick up the key. Car Park had plenty of room and while a small fee was payable, it was very handy and worth it.

Very nice, beautiful, quiet and peaceful property at a very nice location. The breakfast at the in house restaurant was also nice. There was a beautiful meadow/barn behind this property. I did a bunch of day trips to Cheltenham - Bourton on the waters , Bibury etc while keeping this as the base. Much recommend it. Would definitely visit again.

The location and decor were excellent and the friendliest of staff also. Very accommodating with an issue I had related to parking and staff seem to go that extra mile to make your stay pleasant. Bar and restaurant also great.
