Lovely B&B. Stayed for a night on the way to Scotland. Would have liked to stop for longer, the village of Greystoke is very interesting and a nice area for exploring the countryside. The local pub does a good meal. Family rooms are good size.

I stayed here in 2024 whilst walking The Cleveland Way. Having booked a twin, we were delighted to find 2 double beds in our beautiful spacy room. A whole year later (September 2025), my husband and decided to stay there once again, after completing the Coast to Coast walk. As we had booked a double, our room this time only had one double bed, so wasn't as big as the room I'd had before. However, it was still lovely. The hotel's facilities are modern, comfortable, funky - complimentary cake in the afternoons, very spacious relaxing areas, a great restaurant/bar with amazing views. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location and a great two bed cottage opposite Greystoke Castle with easy roadside parking. This break was part work and part leisure. It lovely and quiet, it was safe for Dot the cocker spaniel. There were great walks outside the front door and in nearby areas. We had a great 4 days and there are plenty of places to photograph too - lambs, fell ponies and landscape. The weather was beautiful for Spring and we wished we had stayed a little longer!
