Beautiful location and a great two bed cottage opposite Greystoke Castle with easy roadside parking. This break was part work and part leisure. It lovely and quiet, it was safe for Dot the cocker spaniel. There were great walks outside the front door and in nearby areas. We had a great 4 days and there are plenty of places to photograph too - lambs, fell ponies and landscape. The weather was beautiful for Spring and we wished we had stayed a little longer!

Lovely B&B. Stayed for a night on the way to Scotland. Would have liked to stop for longer, the village of Greystoke is very interesting and a nice area for exploring the countryside. The local pub does a good meal. Family rooms are good size.

Lovely barn conversion, good facilities and warm with the underfloor heating working well. Greystoke village is very well placed for the northern Lakes and has a good local shop plus a weekly fish and chip van!

The property was a lovely surprise. It was such a contrast to your typical holiday home or hotel. Lots of interesting things to check out and investigate.
