This was our 2nd stay at Max's studios, this time we were in the Lodge. It was clean and welcoming, the bed is slightly firm with comfortable support. There was plenty of hot water for the shower and basic kitchen items to prepare simple meal. There was milk in the fridge. Easy to park outside the lodge. Lovely countryside views from the patio. It is easy to find with the directions, however we reminded ourselves by doing Google street car.

What an excellent stay! The tea and coffee selection included Cadbury Hot Chocolate (nice touch!), the rooms were spotless and elegantly furnished. The short distance to the adjacent pub is more than convenient and the food is delicious and creative! I will definitely be back soon!

On arrival, we requested a change to one of our rooms to accomodate a babycot. Friendly staff arranged a room change and really quickly we were able to settle in. Everything you need in a room including a small fridge. Good nights sleep. Ate an enjoyable evening meal in the restaurant. If you want to eat after 7.30pm, advise booking a table at check-in. Shuttle bus service to the airport terminal leaves twice an hour, on the hour and half-past. Takes about 8-10mins. Perfect place to stay for airport flights and Green Motion car rental are right next door.
