Large room, very clean. Spa is really large and my treatment was so good- would certainly make time if I returned for a half or full day spa next time. Food ordered in bar (bangers and mash) really tasty. Staff friendly and also efficient.

Beautiful property in an amazing location. The hosts are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. The property is lovely and very clean. I would definitely recommend this property if you are look for peace and quite but close enough for a city break.

We stayed overnight to celebrate my wife’s doctorate.

We stayed overnight to celebrate my wife’s doctorate. Played golf on your Lakes Course and was quite disappointed with the state of the greens. But the evening meal was lovely and the rooms we had were very nice and clean.

How can you NOT change sheets for next hotel guests??

How can you NOT change sheets for next hotel guests?? Revolting smell of bedding when we arrived first day. Cold air and water temperature in the spa,very disappointing in winter ,when people are traveling hoping to relax in a warm spa with romantic partner. Very high price of food and alcohol. Polite staff trying to compasate low quality of the hotel with a fake smile. Beautiful decoration and fire place. I would not recommend to travel in winter

Fabulous venue.

Fabulous venue. Great for special occasions whether couples or a larger function (and at least two function rooms). Lovely rooms and staff. Good food too. Added options of vineyard tasting tours, cookery courses. Woodland walks. Not the cheapest but you do get what you pay for.

We went for a couple of days to do a workshop at the royal mint. The area is beautiful and I wish we had more time at the hotel and to explore the local sights. The vineyard tour at the hotel looks amazing and our trip to the royal mint was amazing! Definitely recommend.

Our room was huge! The hotel in general was very beautiful but we felt that some of the updates to the building had spoilt it's original charm. The walls had been clad in fake plastic stone so it did feel a little like we were in a disneyland themed hotel. Design aside, we were well looked after and our room/bed/shower etc. were all great and really good value for the money we paid. We could hear the motorway quite significantly from our room but we were shattered and it didn't disturb our sleep.

The hotel is very attractive inside and out. The negative for me was the music from the bar /restaurant being a pretty loud noise in the room during the whole evening. I was in the wrong room because I wasn't in a socialising mood due to my son in hospital nearby and he had an emergency operation this eve. I know a hotel is bustling lively on a Friday eve so it was the only negative point I can think of.

A beautiful cottage in a quiet area. The owners were friendly and greeted us when we arrived. The rooms were spacious and generally clean. We all slept well, the beds were very comfortable. The location was ideal for the event we were attending at Hensol castle which was nearby.

The hotel is trying to look like a 5*, excellent pool gym etc and the golf courses surrounding it looks Fabulous. All the staff were friendly especially Harley (Good staff can make a 4* into a 5* in my opinion).
