The staff were welcoming, the smell of the castle (burnt wood and peat) was gorgoues and cozy. The bar and restaurant were phenomenal and the staff were just awesome, we are already planning on coming back when we can. Have nothing bad to say. WONDERFUL!

Such a special place. Stayed here along the Southern Upland Way and it was SO comfortable. Very friendly people and good food.
