What a brilliant place! Peaceful, very comfortable and lovely surroundings. We loved watching the squirrels and birds outside our cottage. Facilities are excellent, especially the washing machine for travellers. The Hosts Chris and Maggie are very caring in providing lots of extras to make the stay just perfect. It was a good base from which to explore the surrounding towns and countryside and enjoy the beautiful and tranquil garden and trees that surrounded the Woodcarvers Cottage. We would love to return to this unique property one day. It has been the highlight of our 10 week tour of the U.K.
