Veri nice small challet renovated with great taste offering perfect place for relax in the midlle of Peak District nature. Maybe two cars passed the road during the day, just two farms few hundreds meter nearby, but you are there alone with beautiful view of peaks. Just to come, stay, read and relax. 20 minutes by car to Buxton or Leek in case you need to see people and shops.

A very charming place in a lovely village. Very friendly and welcoming staff with a personal approach. All the necessary comforts. There's something very satisfying about staying in an inn... perhaps it's the history the building makes you think of, or the warmth of its busyness, or the pint you can pop down for... The property was a so lovely inside. Like a cute cottage. Everything was extremely clean and brand new. There was washing up products in the property, hand wash, teas, coffee, sugar - all things that make a stay easier when packing as most places don’t provide this. The property was in a lovely village and was close to a town. We stayed here for Alton Towers and it was perfect. The host was lovely and kept in contact with us and was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

We only stayed one night and it was cold and cloudy so we couldn't see much of the view but the setting is gorgeous and would be fabulous in the better weather. The showman's van is well equipped and quirky, warm and comfortable. Wet room and kitchen area spotless and also well equipped.
