I brought my own food along and prepared it in the industrial kitchen which was spotless and well stocked with crockery and pans etc.
The water's edge is a 5 - 10 minute walk away with stunning views. There is a fast flowing river again a short walk away where you can be alone if you want. I would love to stay again and was sad to leave.

It's a small place but in a vast, magnificent, mountainous...
It's a small place but in a vast, magnificent, mountainous wonderland! Fantastic, centralised location for visiting all the wonderful places in and adjacent to Assynt. Lochinver is just a few short miles away but the drive takes you through the beautiful landscape. Once there there are all the local amenities you'll need - local supermarket, restaurants, petrol station and the excellent Pie Shack at Lochinver Larder.
Great base for whatever form your adventures take.
