This is a cosy little cottage with all you need to make it a perfect stay. Hot tub great and cleanliness is that of the highest standard. The cutest Room with everything we needed. A cozy Bed, a table with two chairs, a little shelf with coffee/tea, glasses, plates, ect… and a kettle. There was milk and water in the fridge, and some cereal for breakfast. Just in the next room was a toilet and upstairs the nicest bathroom with a nice shower and there were also a bathtub we could use. We got bathrobes and two towels each! The hosts were the nicest, we could use the lounge outside the house, and we were offered tea when we arrived. Armagh is 20 minutes per foot, a nice little walk, we enjoyed all the walks! 5 minutes away there is a supermarket and a mobile coffee shop, perfekt location :)

We were met by the caretaker even though we checked in much later than the advertised time. The owner invited us to participate in a traditional pig-on-a-spit that was delicious. Very friendly people.

A perfect countryside escape for our family We had the most relaxing stay at Riverside Cottage as a family, and we couldn’t recommend it more. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The cottage itself is beautifully presented, spacious, and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a kitchen and cozy living area. The setting is so peaceful, nestled beside the river and surrounded by nature. In the evening, we dined at Basil Sheils, just down the road, and the food was outstanding—homemade, hearty, and family-friendly with a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast there the next morning was just as impressive. It’s a brilliant place for families looking to unwind and reconnect. Whether you want to explore or just relax by the river, Riverside Cottage offers the best of both. We’ve already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back again ourselves!

Location and rooms were great! This Lodge doesn't have the usual Breakfast options but otherwise offers everything else like cereals, mini fridge, kettles, water etc. There's plenty of cafes for Breakfast nearby in the city, so it was perfect for us. Even our late check in was accommodated :) Beds were comfy and heaters kept the room warm. Bathroom was spacious and no Hot water troubles
