Beautiful area, lovely friendly location where everyone talks to you. Beautiful beach just a short walk away and Old Keiss castle. Perfect location for exploring John O'Groats, Duncansby stacks, Wick, Noss head, Castle St Claire Girnigoe, Lybster, Dunbeath, Dunnet head, beach and community woods to name but a few.

Keiss is a lovely little village very picturesque.

Keiss is a lovely little village very picturesque. It's unspoilt and not commercialised. It's only a couple of miles from John O' Groats and you can see the Orkney islands in the distance.

Beautiful long sandy beach.

Beautiful long sandy beach. An interesting wee town with a pretty wee harbor. Local pub food was tasty including locally poached salmon. Also enjoyed Wick Heritage Museum which is a treasure trove - left me with lots of respect for the sailors and gutters, Wick Harbor walk, Telford structures, St John's Pool bird hide and Forsinard Flows.

Very well presented clean and comfortable. The room was large for two with a view of Keiss beach. We were well catered for. A great touch was the very friendly host and the present of a little rubber duck to take on our trips. Very few places have a large makeup mirror with lights. A 15 minute drive from John O Groats. The owner's instructions on access and WiFi, breakfast, etc., were complete on the app.

Best place ever! Not only was the cabin super nice, it was a lot bigger than we thought. The photos on here are actually not representing how amazing this place is. As soon as we walked in, we got so excited about the spa pool and the cabin itself was just super clean and beautiful. The area is so peaceful, everything was just absolutely perfect. Also did a small walk to the Keiss castle and back.

Paul and Katie were extremely hospitable hosts. The day started with scrumptious breakfast they prepared. The stay was absolutely amazing. The room was as good as, if not better than a full-fledged hotel, just with a bit of added homey feel to it; we also got to witness the Aurora in full force due to the location. Highly recommended stay, whether on the NC500 or just an ad-hoc stop-over.

We used the B&B as a base to explore the North-east corner of Scotland and the island of Orkney by motorcycle. The rooms were very comfortable, the views spectacular and the breakfasts were scrumptious. Evening meals in the Village Inn in Keiss were very good as well. Maree and Christine were very kind and attentive, ensuring our stay was glitch free and very pleasant indeed.

We were stunned by how much room we had above The Village Inn in Keiss. Close to many attractions and towns, this was the perfect spot to base ourselves. 3 bathrooms, 4 toilets, 3 bedrooms, separate kitchen and lounge room. Clean and comfortable…. Loved it!
